The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office received the highest overall score in the Unit Performance Evaluation Rating (UPER) for the month of June this year, besting seven other provincial and city police offices under Police Regional Office 6.
In a statement issued by NOCPPO, the ratings were based on different parameters in administrative and operational police functions.
PRO 6 records indicated that NOCPPO got an overall score of 97.94 percent.
PCol. Rainerio De Chavez, provincial police director of Negros Occidental, congratulated all NOCPPO members for the job well done, as he vowed to continue to strive for excellence in order to maintain the quality of service to Negrenses.
On the other hand, the E.B. Magalona Police Station was also adjudged the best performing police station in Negros Occidental, in the province-wide UPER, with a score of 94.77 percent, for the month of June.
The award was received yesterday by PMaj. Kenneth Jay Gratones, E.B. Magalona police chief, during the kick-off ceremony for the 29th Police Community Relations Month at Camp Alfredo Montelibano Sr. in Bacolod City.
In the city category, the Silay City Police Station was again the top performing city police station in the province, with an accumulated rating of 96.56 percent.
The recognitions and awards were presented by Atty. Michelle Benitez Yotoko, NAPOLCOM provincial officer, assisted by De Chavez and the NOCPPO Command Group.*
