Negrense artists will be joining the 37th annual Negros Trade Fair 2023 (NTF), considered the longest running trade fair in the country, at the Glorietta Activity Center 2 in Makati City from September 26 to October 1.
This year’s theme for the Negros Trade Fair, which is under the supervision of Association of Negros Producers, is “Amuma,” which in Hiligaynon, means “to take care.”
The participating artists are Marj Masangkay, Dolly Gatuslao, Princy Martir, owner of Handmade by Princy, Jenevieve Abeto, Patty Jane Ong, Vicky Gasper, Dynalyn Tan, Mei Lunasco, Rose Jemino, Sony Golez, Sandy Solinap, Noel Martinez and Chrysee Samillano.
“These artists aim to continue the advocacy of other artists through showing support to local government to make Negros known not only with our crafts, food, cuisines but also arts,” Solinap said.
This year, 10 cities, five municipalities, and two districts in Negros Occidental will be participating in the annual trade fair which features Negrense handicrafts, delicacies, local fashion, and art.*
