Negrenses Jerry and Janice Marie “Jing” Jauod of California, USA, renewed their marriage vows at rites officiated by Bacolod Bishop Gerardo Alminaza at the San Sebastian Cathedral in Bacolod City, on June 24.
Jerry is the son of Carlos Jauod and Juanita Grupe-Jauod of the cities of Bago and La Carlota, respectively, while Jing is the daughter of Edmund Castañeda Sr. and Merlyn Tarog-Castañeda of Sipalay City.
Principal sponsors were Sipalay Vice Mayor Oscar Montilla, Judge Eduardo Sayson, Engr. Donato Endrada, Engr. Felix Occeña, Herson Villanueva, Imelda Castro Labandilo, Ma. Teresita Galones-Romero, Mabelita Mayoga-Endrada, Ma. Luz Pineda-Occeña, Elvie Dumalag-Amar, Emiline Ramos-Parcon, and Ma. Evelyn Grupe-Benedicto.

Following the church rites that ended with a short performance rendered by the MassKara dancers at the main entrance of the cathedral, the couple and their guests proceeded to Sugarland Hotel for the reception.*
