Several local government units in Negros Occidental have new police chiefs, effective January 5.
PCol. Leo Pamittan, provincial police director of Negros Occidental, yesterday presided over the change of command of police chiefs in five component cities, at Camp Alfredo Montelibano Sr. in Bacolod City.
PLt. Col. Roberto Indiape Jr. is the new officer in charge of the Kabankalan City Police Station, replacing PLt. Col. Joel Batusbatusan, who was reassigned as OIC of Cadiz City Police Station.
PLt. Col. Anthony Grande also took over the command of Himamaylan City Police Station from PLt. Col. Reynante Jomocan, police records showed.
PLt. Col. Jesus Mesahon Jr. was also replaced by PLt. Col. Eduardo Corpuz as officer in charge of the San Carlos City Police Station, while PLt. Col. Aron Palomo took over the La Carlota City police command from PLt. Col. Lowell Garinganao.
PMaj. Robelito Mariano also assumed command of the Manapla Police Station, His predecessor, PMaj. Jaynick Bermudez, was designated as officer in charge of the Hinobaan Police Station.
In his message to newly installed police chiefs, Pamittan challenged them to continue the good record of their predecessors.
He also stressed the importance for new police chiefs in maintaining and enhancing the reputation of city police stations, and to strive for excellence in every aspect of their duties
Pamittan also reminded them of the aim of NOCPPO to remain as the top performing unit of police units in Western Visayas, as he further stressed that the dedication of the officers on the ground is instrumental in achieving this goal.*
