Negros Power donates 100 sacks of rice for Typhoon Tino victims

Negros Power turns over 100 sacks of rice to the provincial government of Negros Occidental, for distribution to Typhoon Tino victims.*

Negros Electric and Power Corp. extended its support to communities affected by Typhoon Tino through the donation of 100 25kg sacks of rice, turned over on November 17.

The donation was officially received by Arnel Argusar, Department Head of the General Services Office of the Province of Negros Occidental.

Representing Negros Power were Atty. Warven Ilalim, Ronald Reosura, Community Relations Officer, and Klea Marie Tolones, who underscored the company’s commitment to stand with Negrenses amid difficult times.

Negros Power’s Chief Technical Officer and Chief Operating Officer, Engr. Bernard Bailey Del Castillo, expressed the company’s solidarity with the affected communities, saying “Our hearts go out to all Negrenses who continue to suffer from the effects of Typhoon Tino. This donation is a small gesture of our support, and we remain committed to doing our part in helping communities rebuild and recover.”

The initiative, according to a press release from Negros Power, is part of its ongoing efforts to support disaster-stricken areas and strengthen its long-standing advocacy of community care, resilience, and service.*
