A lineman of the Negros Power, who on September 15 fell from a tree while engaged in clearing vegetation to prevent power outages, amid inclement weather, passed away at about 9 p.m. Tuesday, at the Intensive Care Unit of a private hospital in Bacolod City.
Our valued lineman, Jessie James Torremocha, died while diligently working to restore power, following recent severe weather, a statement from the Negros Power said.
Negros Power also described Torremocha as a dedicated and skilled lineman who exemplified the commitment and courage of their entire team.
Extending its condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones, Negros Power said they are eternally grateful for his service and dedication.*
