Negros Press Club elects new officers

Mark Gabriel Salanga of Aksyon Radyo Bacolod was elected president of the Negros Press Club for 2025-2026 during its general assembly and election of officers at the NPC Media Center in Bacolod City Saturday.

Elected vice president was Prime Tejida of RMN-DYHB Bacolod, secretary – Lourd John Diaz (Aksyon Radyo), treasurer – Nona Magbanua (Aksyon Radyo), and auditor James Toga (Negros Daily Bulletin).

Members of the Board of Directors are Eden Aboso (Aksyon Radyo), Merlinda Pedrosa (Sunstar Bacolod), Nico Delfin (Digicast Negros), and Maureen Soliguen (FMR Bacolod).

The term of the new set of NPC officers for 2025-2026 will officially commence March 1.

Outgoing NPC president is Erwin “Ambo” Delilan of Rappler and Panay News.

The Negros Press Club is the oldest press club in the country.*
