The new Land Transportation Office Bacolod and provincial government Organic Trading Post are expected to be operationalized at the start of 2023, disclosed Provincial Administrator Atty. Rayfrando Diaz yesterday.
The construction of the new LTO Bacolod building at its relocation site in Brgy. Mansilingan, Bacolod City, was facilitated and financed by the provincial government of Negros Occidental, Diaz said.
He added that the site of old LTO office and Boy Scouts of the Philippines building, located on property owned by a provincial government, will be developed into a multi-use building, where portions will be allocated for the new BSP headquarters and a halfway house for patient watchers at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital.
It was already approved in principle, with feasibility study soon to be made, Diaz further said.
The Capitol organic trading post and shared facility at the Food Terminal Market of Negros Occidental at San Juan – North Capitol Road in Bacolod City, are also up for blessing and inauguration next month.*
