New civil engineers take oath, organized by PRC, PICE-NOC

The 225 new civil engineers from Negros Occidental and other provinces who took their oath in Bacolod City.*

A total of 225 new civil engineers from Western Visayas and other regions attended the face-to-face oath taking ceremony held at L’Fisher Hotel, Bacolod City on January 27, 2023.

Professional Regulation Commission and the Professional Regulatory Board of Civil Engineering spearheaded the event together with the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers – Negros Occidental Chapter.

Engr. Praxedes P. Bernardo, chairperson of Professional Regulatory Board of Civil Engineering, officiated the oath taking ceremony together with Sheriel E. Loloy, Professional Regulations Officer of PRC Region VI.

Engr. Lea N. Delfinado, assistant secretary of Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development, administers the induction of PICE members.*

The induction of membership of the new Civil Engineers to the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE) was officiated by Engr. Lea N. Delfinado, assistant secretary of Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development, PICE National Region VI coordinator and Past President of PICE-Negros Occidental Chapter.

Civil Engineering Board Passers from 18 schools participated in the event: University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (110) , Carlos Hilado Memorial State University (50), St. Anthony’s College-Antique (24), Colegio San Agustin- Bacolod (11), Garcia College of Technology-Aklan (7), STI- West Negros University (4), Northern Iloilo State University (4), Southland College-Kabankalan (3), PHINMA-University of Iloilo (3), Fellowship Baptist College-Kabankalan (1), Surigao Education Center-Surigao City (1), Cebu Institute of Technology University (1), Mapua University (1), University of the East (1), Western Institute of Technology (1), Central Philippine University-Iloilo (1), University of San Agustin- Iloilo (1) and Aklan State University (1).* Photos by Engr.
