About 168 newly registered medical technologists took their oath as professionals, presided by Dr. Marilyn Cabal-Barza, chairman, Professional Regulatory Board of Medical Technology of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), at SMX Convention Center in Bacolod City Monday.
PAMET national president, Luella Vertucio attended the event as guest speaker and also inducted the medical technologists as members of the Philippine Association of Medical Technologists, Inc.(PAMET), during the event.
Ralph Jason Tulmo, from Riverside College, son of medical doctors Wilson and Janet Tulmo, received a plaque of appreciation from PAMET for being Top 3 in the Medical Technology Licensure Examination in March 2024.
The successful examinees who attended the ceremony were alumni from Colegio San Agustin- Bacolod, Fellowship Baptist College- Kabankalan, Riverside College, University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos, University of San Agustin-Iloilo, Siliman University- Dumaguete, Iloilo Doctors’ College, Central Philippine University- Iloilo, Adventist University of the Philippines- Cavite, and New Era University- Manila.
Also present during the event were Dr. Leila Lany Florento, a member of the Professional Regulatory Board of Medical Technology, Sheriel Loloy Division Chief- Licensure and Registration of PRC-Iloilo, Maruja Japzon, PAMET Regional Director for Visayas, and Ma. Cristina Velez, PAMET Negros Occidental Chapter president.
The oath taking ceremony was hosted by PAMET Negros Occidental Chapter.*
