The new municipal hall of Toboso in Negros Occidental is now operational, following its inauguration yesterday, where Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson was the guest of honor and speaker.
In his speech, Lacson said that the inauguration of the new municipal building marks a significant stride toward enhancing the efficiency and efficacy of local governance, and an affirmation of the government’s allegiance to its constituents, and the holistic development of the province.
He stressed that the municipal building stands not only as a physical embodiment of Toboso’s triumphs, but also as a testament of the unity that binds its people.
The inauguration rites were led by Toboso Mayor Madonna Jaojoco, her predecessor and husband, Councilor Richard Jaojoco, and was also attended by the Sangguniang Bayan members led by Vice Mayor Luisa dela Cruz.
Members of the Toboso municipal council also turned a copy of a resolution, thanking Gov. Lacson for granting the P30 million that paved the way for the construction of the town hall.*
