The Police Regional Office 6, which supervises six provincial police offices and two highly urbanized city police offices, has a new commander in the person of PBrig. Gen. Sidney Villaflor.
Villaflor’s new assignment took effect May 22.
Prior to his new position, Villaflor, a member of the Philippine Military Academy Class 1992, served as deputy chief for Administration of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group.
He replaces PBrig. Archival Macala, who served as officer in charge of the Police Regional Office 6, for a little more than two weeks, following the designation of PBrig. Gen. Leo Francisco as acting head of the PNP Directorate for Operations.*
