Ephesians 2:21, “In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto a holy temple in the Lord.”
Fitly-Framed Together. That was the theme embraced by the New Life Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ Inc. as they gathered to celebrate the last Sunday of 2025, a special occasion dedicated for Thanksgiving and year-end reflection.
The event commenced with a fellowship service led by Rev. Jerry Delicano, Bishop of the NLACJCI, who encouraged the congregation to examine their spiritual journey, renew their covenant with God, and pursue the ministry of reconciliation in their lives and community.
In his message, Rev. Delicano challenged the congregation to engage in a deep and honest reflection of their spiritual walk over the past year, 2025, urging each believer to assess their relationship with God, examining the areas where they have grown and acknowledging the parts that need renewal.
The message centered strongly on reconciliation and the renewal of the covenant with God. He emphasized that true renewal begins with a heartfelt repentance and a renewed commitment to live according to God’s Word. The covenant with God is not a one-time promise but a continuous journey of faithfulness, obedience, and blood (love).
Delicano called on everyone to examine their hearts, to forgive where needed, and to seek reconciliation with others.
NLACJCI is an apostolic church launched in Bago City, Negros Occidental during the pandemic. The organization now has a churches in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, and in Cuartero, Capiz, Murcia, Negros Occidental, and is soon to build a new church in Bacolod City.
Delicano clarified that the organization is not what the church is all about; it is just a mere identity and legal compliance. The apostolic church is believed to have started from the upper room of Jerusalem, where people in all walks of life first received the Holy Ghost, as stated in Acts 2:4.
In an unexpected moment, an old friend of the church from the apostolic church in Cebu City paid a visit. This visit served as a poignant reminder of reconciliation, restoring broken bonds and strengthening the unity of the body of Christ.
The visit underscored the message that no matter how far we may stray or how long we may be apart, God’s grace brings us back into His fold, making us fitly framed together in His divine purpose with no organizational barriers.
The call was clear: to be fitly framed, carefully and intentionally shaped by God’s hands, so that they may serve Him effectively as a family, working together in harmony and purpose.
Every believer is called to be a living testament of reconciliation and renewal, “forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before” (Philippians 3:13), to be fitly framed together as Christ’s ambassadors to the world.*
