2GO, one of the Philippine’s leading sea travel providers, has partnered with Bacolod Yuhum Foundation to officially kick off the MassKara Festival, celebrating the vibrancy and spirit of Bacolod onboard its ship.
Benitez said he is expecting more visitors coming in for the MassKara celebration with two more weeks to go till the highlights. “We will strive to make MassKara better than this year. I want to make it world class so that it will attract other nationalities.”
Meanwhile, 2GO hosted an onboard celebration yesterday, showcasing the vessel and its route to Bacolod City. The Bacolod Yuhum Foundation, the heart and driving force behind the MassKara Festival, led the program, which featured spectacular performances by talented Bacolodnon dancers, adding excitement and flair to the celebration.

“We are thrilled to witness people from across the islands coming together to celebrate the MassKara Festival,” Dennis Garganera, 2GO Visayas Operations head, said. “This year, we’re especially excited to bring more passengers from Manila, Batangas, and Cagayan de Oro. We offer not only a mode of transportation but an immersive experience, with our vessels serving as a home away from home. Through this partnership, we continue to support local tourism and strengthen our connections to the vibrant Filipino communities.”
“We are grateful to 2GO for being our official logistic partner for this year’s MassKara Festival,” said Bacolod Yuhum Foundation chairman Jojie Dingcong. “Their commitment to enhancing the travel experience of festival-goers aligns perfectly with the spirit of MassKara. With 2GO’s support, we can ensure that more visitors from across the country can experience the magic, smiles, and energy of Bacolod.”
“Together, let’s make this year’s MassKara Festival truly unforgettable,” Dingcong added.*
