The 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office got a boost of its mobility assets after being provided with a brand-new Toyota Hi-Lux 4×4 patrol vehicle.

The brand-new patrol car for 2nd PMFC was among the seven vehicles turned over yesterday by PBrig. Gen. Flynn Dongbo, newly-installed regional police director of Western Visayas, to the different police mobile units in the region, at Camp Martin Delgado in Iloilo City.

Dongbo said the additional police vehicles will augment the anti-insurgency activities of various police mobile group units in Western Visayas.

Aside from the police vehicles, the Police Regional Office 6 also received from Camp Crame 12 units of assault rifles, binoculars, battering ram, 12 units of ladders, bolt cutters, axes and ballistic shields for use by police SWAT personnel.

Dongbo added that various police units under PRO 6 are also receiving five units of desktop PC, 6 units of computer laptops, 12 units of uninterruptible power supply, three units of LED keyboard, seven units of 1 tera bite hard disk drive, seven computer printers, 15 air conditioning units, 11 units of 32-inch TCL television and a wall fan.

He urged the end users to take care of the vehicles and equipment, and be more responsible in its use so that it will last long.*
