The reshuffling of police chiefs and staff officers occupying key positions at the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office is set after the election period ends on June 8, provincial police deputy spokesperson PLt. Abegael Donasco disclosed yesterday.
As of this time, there is no movement yet since the election banning period is not yet over, Donasco added.
Overstaying police chiefs and performance of police commissioned officers occupying key positions will also be considered in the relief and transfer, she further said.
Even at the regional level, there is no movement of officers, Donasco said.
Meanwhile, due to retirement of some PNP senior officers, a minor reorganization took place at Camp Crame.
Among the 15 senior police officials affected by the reshuffling was PBrig. Gen. Samuel Nacion, former NOCPPO officer-in-charge, who was designated as OIC of the Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group, effective May 18.*
