The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) remains scalawag-free, as of this time after Provincial police deputy spokesperson, PLt. Abegael Donasco, yesterday said that they have not monitored any NOCPPO personnel involved in illegal activities.
While the Philippine National Police is not a perfect organization, Donasco said that NOCPPO is making sure to get rid of rogue cops, if there are any.
Donasco said they and the IMEG (Integrity Monitoring Enforcement Group) are exchanging information related to monitoring the activities of police personnel who may be swayed by others to be involved in illegal activities such as the proliferation of illegal drugs, among others.
A random drug testing is also being conducted either every quarter, twice a year, or annually, as among their measures to determine if any police personnel are hooked on illegal drugs, she added.*
