NOLITC rolls out full online training

The Negros Occidental Language and Information Technology Center will start the full online training for Contact Center Services NC II and English Language Proficiency this month.

This after the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority issued a Certificate of Recognition to NOLITC last week.

The provincial government, through Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson will provide 650 scholarship slots to qualified Negrenses interested in enrolling for CCS Course, ELP, 2D Animation, Visual Graphic Design, Software Development Training Program, and webinars for Gender and Development.

The scholarship is part of the Negros Occidental Training for Work Scholarship Program funded under the Gender and Development Fund.

The scholarship application process will also be done online, as part of NOLITC’s effort to respond to the needs of Negrenses who have lost their jobs or whose sources of income have been affected by the health pandemic.

The skills retooling program of NOLITC is part of the economic recovery plan of the Office of the Governor to provide opportunities to the unemployed.

Meanwhile, Tesda has also provided 110 scholarship slots for CCS courses under the Training for Work Scholarship Program and Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Program.

The scholarship is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
