The Negros Press Club will hold the election of its new set of officers for 2022 to 2012 at the NPC Media Center in Bacolod City today.
Voting will start at 1 p.m. and will end at 5 p.m.
Similar to the previous year, the officers opted to forego the annual general assembly to avoid mass gathering and in consideration of the limitations in gathering a quorum amid the continuing threat of the Covid-19 pandemic.
NPC president Yves Montecillo said they will control the number of persons in the building during the election to ensure that physical distancing is observed.
He also advised members to wear face masks and face shields, if necessary.
Candidates and members are reminded to pay their annual dues to be able to vote.*
