Regional TV One Western Visayas anchorman Adrian Prietos and RMN-Bacolod reporter Nikki Magbanua won the first ever Mr. and Miss Negros Press Club 2004, during the club’s Christmas and Thanksgiving Party in Sagay City Saturday.
Nico Delfin of Digicast Negros was Mr. Negros Press Club 2024 first runner-up; Mark Salanga of Aksyon Radyo Bacolod – second runner-up, and Archie Alipalo of DNX – third runner-up.
Merlinda Pedrosa of SunStar Bacolod was Miss Negros Press Club 2024 first runner-up, Glazyl Masculino-Jopson of Daily Guardians – second runner-up, and Maureen Soliguen of FMR – third runner-up.
NPC treasurer Nanette Guadalquiver of Philippine News Agency won the grand prize of P100,000 in cash during a raffle, followed by Liberty Padriga of DYRL who won a single motorcycle as second prize, and Eden Aboso of Aksyon Radyo Bacolod who won P50,000 in cash – third prize.
The Red Team led by Guadalquiver and NPC director Mae Singuay was over-all champion in the choral and cheerdance group contest, followed by the Orange Team who landed second place, and the Yellow and Green teams who scored a tie for the third place.
