Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation, Inc. (NWTF), a non-profit microfinance organization celebrating its 40th founding anniversary, earned the 32nd spot in The Philippines Best Employers for 2025 by Philippine Daily Inquirer and Statista, coming from last year’s 100th place.

“To be recognized as one of the best employers in the country and the only Negros-based organization in the top 50 is heartwarming and a testament to the enduring legacy of the foundation, which all started with a single dream—to help the poor achieve better tomorrows,” Suzzette Gaston, NWTF Executive Director said in a press release..

“And we have our clients and our roster of passionate and dutiful employees to thank; they continue to be our source of inspiration and purpose,” Gaston added.

SUCCESS IS ITS PEOPLE

The heart of NWTF is its people, and the success it has reached up to now is because of the thousands of dedicated employees who work in the service of women and families, supporting the organization’s effort to build more sustainable dungganon communities.

They become instrumental in driving change, and they work with them to find solutions to challenges faced by the communities they serve.

As NWTF continues to grow, its people remain at the core of its mission, which is crucial to building a brighter, better, and more sustainable future for all.

Their passion and commitment are the organization’s foundation where success is consistently aspired and achieved— all with the hope of inspiring those they serve to continue their journey.

DUNGGANON LEGACY

For the past 40 years, the Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation, Inc. or more commonly known as Dungganon, has passionately worked to help women, families, and communities transform their lives for the better.

To date, the organization is serving more than 500,000 clients, their families, and communities across the country, particularly in the whole of Visayas and some parts of Luzon, and in the foreseeable future, in Mindanao, as it continues to expand its reach and impact to help more Filipinos get a chance at a better life.

NWTF’s holistic approach to a better life is centered on providing real and sustainable development opportunities. Through various programs, NWTF provides access to financial services and education, equipping them with training to help women and families achieve economic independence and self-reliance.

These efforts and initiatives create ripples of positive change that strengthen entire communities and will help shape their future and that of their families— as it did with others for the past four decades.

NWTF AND BEYOND

As it looks to the future, the Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation, Inc. remains committed and driven to continue its mission of ensuring that more women, families, and communities benefit from the life-changing programs and services of the organization.

The foundation also shared its accomplishments: Presidential Recognition for Outstanding Development Partner in Improving Access to Finance Category; Five 2023 Digital Financial Inclusion Award Winners – The winners were recognized for adopting digital ways in their respective business operations; My Dungganon Bank App (Dungganon Bank Inc.) was launched to help clients familiarize themselves with new technologies and for their convenience.

NWTF was recognized as a 3Zero Support Organization, an initiative that supports the youth in creating a world of three zeroes — zero net carbon emission, zero wealth concentration for ending poverty, and zero unemployment by unleashing entrepreneurship in all; and the NWTF team now consists of over 5,000 employees, serving more than 500,000 clients in over 250 branches across the country.

“It’s almost hard to imagine how far one dream has taken us; what started as a small group of people has now blossomed into a strong team of over 5000, bound by a shared purpose of working together for women, families, and the communities,” Gaston said.

“The journey for the past four decades has been incredibly fulfilling, and we look forward to more decades of service with everyone working together in building more sustainable communities,” she added.*
