Oil firms announced big-time price hikes beginning today.
In separate advisories on Monday, Caltex, Petro Gazz, Seaoil, Cleanfuel, and Shell said gasoline prices will increase by P1.40 per liter and diesel prices by P1.20 per liter.
Caltex, Seaoil, and Shell will also increase kerosene prices by P1.20 per liter. Other oil firms are expected to follow suit.
Last week, oil companies implemented a price increase of P1.10 per liter for gasoline and P0.40 per liter for diesel and kerosene.
As of March 25, gasoline and diesel have a total net increase of P3.25 per liter while kerosene has a total net decrease of P0.30 per liter.*PNA
