For the safety of its staff, the Orange Project Gallery at the Art District in Mandalagan, Bacolod City announced its temporary closure starting today until further notice due to the recent increase of COVID-19 cases in the city.

The gallery is currently hosting a collective exhibition titled “Art and Isolation” , featuring 47 local artists. Also ongoing at the gallery is the solo exhibition of RA Tijing titled, “Quaransanity” which features his experience and observation during the lockdown and his comment on the black-lives-matter protest in the US.

Other exhibits are being held at the Block17 ArtSpace, and the Art Association of Bacolod-Negros galleries, also at the Art District.

AAB-N celebrated its 45th anniversary last month with a virtual exhibit.

Thirty works from 18 visual artists are featured in a virtual venue that can be accessed via www.aabgallery.weebly.com.*
