Ayala Malls Capitol Central announced the opening of the One Town, One Province (OTOP) Negros Occidental in the mall in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
On October 14, the 147 sqm space offered by the mall to DTI’s OTOP, opened its doors to the public featuring crafts and delicacies that are truly, “best of Negros”. Featuring exquisite furniture, accessories, and tasty delicacies from the community, the OTOP aims to showcase what Negros Occidental has to offer.
Since the pandemic affected many Negrense’s livelihood, the OTOP hopes to make the locally produced crafts and delicacies accessible to the market to help the producers bounce back.
With the Alagang AyalaLand’s campaign in supporting SEs and local merchants of the community, the showroom will serve as a venue for them sell and promote these creative, world-class products made by the hands of our very own community.
As aligned under AyalaLand’s program under community development, Alagang AyalaLand aims to create livelihood opportunities in neighboring communities with its malls as incubator hubs for Social Enterprises. It aims to establish a platform primarily geared towards supporting local, and developing an avenue for small businesses.
The OTOP Negros Occidental showroom is open from October 14, 2021 to March 2022.*
