To highlight the Almana 5-in-1 milestones celebration, five business units under the Almana Group of Companies, in partnership with the HBONI, or Hope Builders Organization Negros Island Inc., led by Binalbagan coordinator Rodin Necesario Nieves, conducted an outreach activity dubbed “Youth Initiative: A Bayanihan Para sa Kabataan Project” at Purok Acacia in Brgy. Marina, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental on July 16.
The initiative includes a feeding program, and distribution of school supplies, alcohol and food packs to more than 50 children. Pau Liniment and Alvitz Vitamin C and E were also distributed to the elderlies of the area.
The event, spearheaded by the Almana Cares Foundation Inc., prepared school supplies, cereal boxes, and alcohol, with the sponsoring Almana business units – The Visayan Daily Star, Youlink Community Channel, Youlink.Store, Health Care Solutions, and Almana Tolling Services.
The community outreach activity was also participated in by the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Binalbagan Community headed by Sr. Analee Garciano, administrative team member for academics; and the Team Asenso Marina led by Bobby Vincent Bentulan.
Also present were members of Brgy. Marina Sangguniang Kabataan council headed by its chairman, Ernie Sarad, together with other youth volunteer groups.
LEAP production talents Jay Mark Becaro, Man of the Earth 2021 runner-up; Mark Alfonso Napiñas, Mister Grand Bacolod City; and Mr. City of Smiles 2020 Expo Ambassador Jerico Sarona, also graced the event. LEAP is the producer of Mister Body and Looks Philippines and Mister Grand City of Smiles.*
