All Army infantry battalions and brigades also received 3ID Commander’s Streamer from Maj. Gen. Benedict Arevalo, 3ID commander, in recognition of their internal security operation accomplishments.
Arevalo also spearheaded the wreath-laying ceremony that remembered the heroic deeds of comrade-in-arms who selflessly sacrificed their lives to protect the Filipino people.
At the same time, he congratulated the awardees for their exemplary performance and dedication to duty. Thus, Arevalo said, he is hoping that other personnel will also be inspired and motivated to do their best.
“Without the contribution of all 3ID units, our campaign to End Local Communist Armed Conflict will not be successful,” Arevalo further said.*
