The Office of the Vice President – Panay and Negros Islands Satellite Office (OVP PNI SO) distributed livelihood grants of P15,000 each to 46 individuals and P150,000 to an association in Bacolod City through the Mag Negosyo Ta ‘Day (MTD) program Monday.
Vice President Sara Duterte personally handed the cheque to the BACIMPA Association and several individual beneficiaries of MTD.
Each beneficiary has an existing business under the association such as ukay-ukay, carinderia, school supplies, piggery, chicken joy vending, and mushroom production.
Through the help of MTD of the OVP, the beneficiaries were given additional capital so they could further expand their businesses.
The MTD is a project of the OVP that aims to alleviate the socio-economic status of the Filipino people by providing them capital and business training to help improve their businesses. The MTD includes women, members of the LGBTQIA+, and organizations that are interested in starting a business.*
