
On November 24, the Atrium of Robinsons Bacolod became the center of celebration for the 90th anniversary of the Office of the Vice President (OVP), where the launch of a pop-up exhibit coincided with the presentation of a livelihood grant to 20 beneficiaries of the OVP’s Mag Negosyo Ta ‘Day (MTD) program.
The exhibit titled “Extra + Ordinary: Vice Presidents of the Philippines” is part of the OVP’s extensive journey to bring the history and legacy of the office to different corners of the country.
It showcased the achievements and contributions of 14 vice presidents since the establishment of the OVP on November 15, 1935, including current Vice President Sara Duterte.
Concurrent with the launch of the exhibit was the presentation of a P15,000 livelihood grant to 20 beneficiaries of the OVP’s Mag Negosyo Ta ‘Day (MTD) program, through the OVP-Panay and Negros Islands Satellite Office, and was attended by spokesperson Atty. Ruth Castelo and Director of Operations Division, Norman Baloro.*
