An estimated P455,600 worth illegal drugs were recovered by the police from two arrested drug suspects on Monday night at Purok Neptune in Brgy. Singcang-Airport, Bacolod City.

Nabbed were Edwin Perez, 55, listed by the police as a High Value Individual drug personality, and Ronnel Dayanan, 37, both residents of the place.

Their arrests yielded about 67 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P455,600 and P1,000 in marked money, according to regional police spokesman Lt. Col. Arnel Solis.

Solis said that Alvarez, who was released from jail in December last year after charges filed against him for violation of RA 9165, known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002, were dismissed by the court.

Brig. Gen. Flynn Dongbo, regional police director of Western Visayas, lauded the new accomplishments of the Bacolod City Police Office under the supervision of PCol. Joseph Thomas Martir for another job well done.

“Continue your effort in our campaign against illegal drugs. It is our dream to make every community, peaceful, orderly and drug free,”Dongbo said in a statement issued by PRO 6.*
