Police arrested three more drug suspects on Sunday in Purok Kapawa, Brgy. Punta Taytay, Bacolod City, that also yielded more or less P523,600 worth of suspected shabu.
Nabbed during the buy bust operation yesterday, initiated by the Bacolod City Drug Enforcement Unit, were Cyril Gepielago, Julius Londres, both classified by the police as High Value Individual drug personalities, and Pearly Mae Panes, all residents of the place.
PLt. Liberty Indiape, deputy BCPO spokesperson, disclosed that the arrest of three drug suspects also led to the confiscation of about 77 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P523,600, marked money of P1,000 and coin purse containing P200 in cash.
Three other drug suspects were also separately apprehended by the police during buy bust operations in Binalbagan and Talisay City, Negros Occidental, on July 9, that also yielded P37,400 worth of suspected shabu.
Arrested in Purok Propan, Brgy. Bagroy, Binalbagan, were Christopher Reyes, 46, and her younger brother, Ronald, 42, both residents of the place.
Recovered during the buy bust operation were an estimated 2.5 gram of suspected shabu with a market value of P17,000 and P500 in marked money.
The apprehension of Kenneth Clanog, 28, in another buy bust operation at Zone 6 in Brgy. Concepcion, Talisay City, also yielded an estimated three grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P20,400, marked money of P500 and P461 in cash.*
