A former councilor was robbed of about P869,500 worth of jewelries and cash on April 1 at Purok Yee-on in Brgy. Cabahug, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental, police said.
Former Cadiz City Councilor Ray Yee, 59, reported to the police that unidentified suspect/s forcibly entered his residence by gaining entry at the back of his house, and carted away P285,000 in cash, as well as assorted expensive watches, necklaces, bracelets, earrings.
The incident is still under investigation by the Cadiz City Police Station.*
