The successive anti-drug operations of the police on March 7 and 8 in Bacolod City led to the recovery of P836,400 worth of suspected shabu from three arrested drug suspects.
PCol. Joseph Thomas Martir yesterday said that about 113 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P768,400, P3,000 in marked money and P200 in cashwere recovered by the City Drug Enforcement Unit during a buy-bust operation at Gardenville Subdivision in Brgy. Tangub, Bacolod City.
BCPO director Martir identified the arrested suspects as Roberto Dingcong and Jenny Babes Montealto, both classified as Street Level Individual drug personalities.
On March 7, the buy-bust operation of BCPO Station 4 led to the seizure of 10 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P68,000, at Purok Bayanihan in Brgy. Villamonte, Bacolod City.
Apprehended during the buy-bust operation was identified by PLt. Liberty Indiape, BCPO deputy spokesperson, as Rolly Ramos, 45, of the place.*
