P1.5M shabu seized in Bacolod

Policemen seized on Friday night an estimated P1.5 million worth of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation at Purok Magti-ayon in Brgy.10. Bacolod City.

The buy-bust operation conducted by the Bacolod City Police Office Drug Enforcement Unit led to the apprehension of alias ‘Neneng,’ and the recovery of about 230 grams of suspected shabu valued at P1,564,000.

In an interview with Aksyon Radyo, PLt. Richard Legada, deputy chief of BCPO Drug Enforcement Unit, disclosed that the arrested suspect was reported to get her supply of illegal drugs from a certain ‘Dodong.’

On Thursday, an estimated P238,000 worth of suspected shabu was also recovered by operatives of Police Station 2 in another buy bust operation at Purok Barracuda in Brgy. 1, Bacolod City.

Two drug suspects, with aliases of ‘Ryniel’ and ‘Gen,’ were also arrested by the police.

Recovered were suspected shabu, estimated at 35 grams, with a market value of P238,000.
