Policemen have seized an estimated P1,612,076 worth of suspected shabu in separate buy bust operations on February 20, also resulting in the arrest of five drug suspects.
The apprehension of Mark John Quijano on Monday in Brgy. 6, San Carlos City, yielded 216 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P1,469,256, according to a report of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office.
An estimated three grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P20,400, were also recovered by the police from Iver Rey Naranjo, alias Kapid, during a buy bust operation at Sitio Cubay, Brgy. 6A, Victorias City.
The arrest of Jeromme Diaz in another buy bust operation at Brgy. Antipolo, Pontevedra, led to the confiscation of about five grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P34,000, police said.
Two more drug suspects identified by the police as Joshua Ocido and Henry Palmon have been also been apprehended at Purok Riverside in Brgy. Hawaiian, Silay City, yielding 13 grams of suspected shabu, with a market value of P88,400.*
