Policemen seized more than P100,000 worth of suspected shabu from the four men they arrested in buy-bust operations in Bacolod City Tuesday and Wednesday.
Mitchjy del Rosario, 35, of Purok San Antonio, Phase 6B, Brgy. Handumanan, was apprehended at about 11:45 p.m. Wednesday at Bangga Totong in Brgy. Felisa, when he sold a sachet of suspected shabu to a poseur buyer in exchange for P500.
Five more sachets of suspected shabu, valued at P4,080, were recovered from him after his arrest, P/Lt. Rondyl Tapang, officer-in-charge of Police Station 10, said.
P/Major Richard Fajarito, Station 3 commander, reported the arrest of Patrick Lacson, alias “Wilfredo,” 43, of Santo Rosario, Zone 1, Brgy. Bata, at about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday for allegedly selling illegal drugs in the area.
Fajarito said they recovered a sachet containing 7.3 grams of suspected shabu, valued at P49,640, from Lacson after his arrest.
Meanwhile, a .38 caliber revolver without serial number and with live ammunition were seized from Eliseo Torabilla, alias “Koki,” 24, of Purok Boulevard, Bacolod, after he tried to sell a sachet of suspected shabu in the barangay at about 11 p.m. Tuesday.
His neighbor, Oliver Jumayao, 31, was also arrested for possession of a transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu.
The seized items weighed about 10 grams and were valued at P68,000, the police added.*
