Operatives of the Regional Drug Enforcement Agency 6 and local police yesterday seized P13.6M worth of shabu in Bago City in a buy-bust operations.
About two kilos of suspected shabu, with a market value of P13.6 million, from two suspects, connected to a local drug group, during a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Lag-asan, Bago City, Negros Occidental.
Nabbed by joint operations of RDEU 6 and Bago City police were Radney Pidol, 38, and Raphy Pradilla, 28, both categorized by the police as Street Level Individual Drug Personalities and residents of Brgy. 2, Silay City.
However, their companion identified as Rogie Senatin, alias Boy Boy, of Sitio Beranyo of Brgy. Lantad, also of Silay City, Lt. Col. Joem Malong, spokesperson of the Police Regional Office 6, said the three drug suspects confederated and helped each other in selling six sachets of suspected shabu to a police poseur buyer, in exchange for P100,000 buy-bust boodle money, with a P200 marked bill.
Also recovered were two pieces of machine-sealed transparent plastic bags containing suspected shabu, that were slightly opened although sealed with a white masking tape and placed inside a black sling bag, a cellular phone, a digital weighing scale, and a motorcycle, among other items.
Malong said the arrested drugs suspects were reported to have been connected to a local drug group in Negros Occidental. Both are now detained at the Bago City police custodian facility.*
