P13.7M in shabu seized in San Carlos City

More than two kilos of suspected shabu with a market value of P13.7 million were seized on August 30 during a buy bust operation in Hacienda Santa Ana, Brgy. Palampas, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.

The recovery of P13.7 million worth of suspected shabu also led to the arrest of two drug suspects identified by the police as John Remegio, 34, and Crismark Blancaflor, 27, residents of La Paz, Iloilo City, and Bingawan town of Iloilo, respectively.

The police also seized a Chevrolet vehicle and P10,000 in marked money from the two arrested drug suspects categorized as High Value Individual (HVI) drug personalities, according to a statement issued by regional police spokesperson PMajor Mary Grace Socorro Borio.
