Bacolod City police seized approximately P170,000 worth of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation in Barangay 2 early Monday morning.
The operation, conducted by police station 2 at around 1:00 a.m., resulted in the arrest of a 45-year-old street-level offender identified as alias ‘Pol.’
Authorities recovered six heat-sealed plastic sachets of illegal drugs weighing roughly 25 grams, along with a coin purse and buy-bust money.
The suspect is currently in police custody and faces charges for violating sections 5 and 11 of republic act 9165.
The regional police emphasized that the arrest is part of a sustained, intelligence-driven campaign to eliminate illegal drug activities across the city.*
