Anti-drug operatives of the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) arrested a female suspect and seized an estimated P170,000 worth of suspected shabu during a late-night operation in Purok Lubi, Barangay 3, on Tuesday.
The suspect, identified by the alias ‘Gamay,’ is a 25-year-old resident of the barangay.
According to police records, she is classified as a street-level individual and was previously listed under the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council watch list.
The operation, carried out by the City Drug Enforcement Unit, took place at approximately 10:06 p.m.
During the buy-bust, authorities recovered roughly 25 grams of the suspected shabu.
The suspect is currently detained at Police Station 2 as formal charges for the violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 is being prepared.*
