Anti-drug operatives of the Bacolod City Police Office arrested four suspects and seized almost P177,000 worth of suspected shabu in two buy-bust operations recently.

Police Station 8 operatives, led by Maj. Joery Puerto, apprehended two men at around 8 p.m. Saturday after they sold suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer for P500 in Florenceville Subdivision, Barangay Pahanocoy.

The suspects were identified as Carel John Rula, 42, a resident of the area, and his companion Rodel Remegio, 24, of Barangay 18 in Bacolod City.

Operatives recovered seven sachets containing 20 grams of shabu, worth P136,000, along with two coin purses, a disposable lighter, and an improvised tooter from the suspects.

On Friday, two suspects were arrested by personnel of Police Station 6 in Purok Pilipinhon, Barangay 30, during the operation at around 1 a.m.

They were identified as Fritz Erespe, 45, and Maricon Elpos, 50, both of Barangay 30.

The suspects sold a sachet of shabu, worth P500, to an undercover policeman, and yielded 10 small sachets containing about six grams of the same prohibited substance, valued at P40,800.

Operatives also recovered an improvised tooter, two disposable lighters, a sling bag, a candy canister, a coin purse, and P510 cash.*PNA
