The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) arrested two drug personalities and seized approximately 150 grams of suspected shabu worth P1,020,000 during a drug operation yesterday.
The operation was conducted by operatives of the City Drug Enforcement Unit at approximately 4:29 a.m. at Purok Cereza South, Barangay 3, Bacolod City.
The arrested suspects were identified as alias ‘Edron,’ a 19-year-old male, and alias ‘Ethan,’ an 18-year-old male, both residents of Barangay 3, Bacolod City.
The two suspects are currently detained and will face charges for violation of Sections 5, 11, and 26 of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The BCPO in a statement reaffirmed its steadfast commitment to eradicating illegal drugs and protecting the community from drug-related threats.*
