Bacolod City Police Office City Drug Enforcement Unit seized approximately P1.088 million worth of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation at Purok Narra Baybay, Barangay 8, Bacolod City, yesterday.
The operation resulted in the arrest of two female suspects identified as 30-year-old alias ‘Ning,’ a person with disability, and 20-year-old alias ‘Nikka.’
Authorities recovered more or less 160 grams of suspected shabu.
Both suspects are residents of the barangay where the operation took place.
The arrested individuals and the confiscated evidence were transported to the City Drug Enforcement Unit for documentation and disposition.
Formal charges are being prepared against the suspects for violations of Sections 5, 11, and 26 of Republic Act 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*
