The joint operation of the Police Station 5 and City Drug Enforcement Unit yesterday led to the seizure of P1 million worth of suspected shabu from an arrested drug suspect at Purok Cereza in Brgy. 27, Bacolod City.
Nabbed was Ronnie Ray dela Cruz, while a certain Delvin Rubio managed to escape, according to a report of the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO).
The apprehension of dela Cruz yielded about 170 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P1,156,000, BCPO records showed.
On Sept. 15, about P1 million worth of suspected shabu was also intercepted and confiscated by operatives of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, in tandem with Philippines Coast Guard, from a Person with Disability at the BREDCO Port in Bacolod City.
According to PDEA, the arrest of PWD yielded about 150 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P1,020,000.*
