A reward of P20,000 is being offered by Toboso Mayor Richard Jaojoco for the names of two town residents, who allegedly displayed a poster inciting immorality in Don Salvador Benedicto that drew condemnation from Mayor Marxlen dela Cruz.
The lewd poster displayed by the two motorists, who passed by DSB, was uploaded and later removed from Facebook.
Jaojoco said he had already coordinated with dela Cruz, who offered his help in identifying the two motorists, who reportedly are residents of Toboso.
The Toboso police has also been tapped by Jaojoco to locate the two motorcycle riders.
Dela Cruz said in the Facebook account of the DSB municipal government that while everybody is welcome to witness the great gift of nature in the town, visitors must be respectful as officials promote good governance that instills morally upright attitudes in all residents.
He said they will not tolerate unwanted attitudes from tourists, whether local or foreign, adding that, “We condemn immoral acts, even only a mere gesture of it”.
“Once they have been identified, we promise we will make you feel the claws of the law,” Dela Cruz said, adding that the municipality will declare them persona non grata, or unwelcome persons.*
