The P25 million bridge in formerly insurgency-affected Brgy. Camangcamang, Isabela, Negros Occidental, is now ready for use.
It was formerly an overflow bridge.
Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson and Isabela Mayor Irene Montilla led the inauguration of the newly completed bridge in Brgy. Camangcamang, Isabela, which started construction April last year.
Construction was facilitated by the Provincial Engineer’s Office led by Engr. Ernie Mapa.
Lacson said he is happy to know that Brgy. Camangcamang is a booming barangay in terms of economic activities and local development.
“Let’s continue to work together, to be God’s instruments, to improve the lives of the communities in Isabela,” he said, in his speech.
Lacson added that there are other road projects for the LGU as well.
Camang-Camang Brgy. Capt. Renato Nicolas and local officials thanked the Provincial Government for the bridge project that makes transportation easy for the community and promotes their safety as well.*
