Drug enforcement unit operatives and local police have arrested three drug suspects in separate buy-bust operations on October 28 in Bacolod City and Calatrava, Negros Occidental, that led to the recovery of P285,000 worth of suspected shabu and its paraphernalia.
The joint operation Provincial Drug Enforcement Special Operations Unit, Police Station 7 and Victorias City Police Station in Brgy. Mansilingan, Bacolod City, led to the recovery of P238,000 worth of suspected shabu, P1,000 in marked money, a cellular phone and a Honda motorcycle.
It also resulted to the apprehensions of Richard Hofileña, 36, and Kerlyn de Asis, 25, both residents of Bacolod City.
Another buy-bust operation in Brgy. Look, Calatrava on Thursday also led to the arrest of John Bini, 44, of the place, police said.
The arrest of Bini, alias Juan, yielded about seven grams of suspected shabu, P1,000 in marked money and P10,500 in cash.
The three drug suspects are now locked up in jail.*
