More than P300,000 worth of illegal drugs have been seized by the police in series of buy bust operations on June 21 in Negros Occidental, resulting in the apprehensions of four drug suspects.
A buy bust operation jointly conducted by the local police and troopers of the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company on Wednesday at Purok Nawasa in Brgy. San Jose, Binalbagan, led to the arrest of a drug suspect identified as Edward Ondon Jr., alias Juan Bol.
The arrest of Ondon, 39, by the Binalbagan police and 2nd NOPMFC, yielded about 20 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P136,000 and P500 in marked money.
Another buy bust operation in Brgy. Mambulac, Silay City, also led to the arrest of two drug suspects identified by the police as Gerardo Gelisanga, 32, of Brgy. Pahanocoy, Bacolod City, and Rubilyn Suplico, 22, of Brgy. Zone 4, Talisay City.
Their apprehensions yielded an estimated seven grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P47,600 and marked money of P3,400, police said.
The police also recovered about three grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P20,400 and P500 in marked money, following the arrest of a drug suspect identified as Christopher Puray, during a buy bust operation at Carlo Magalona St. in Brgy. 1 Poblacion, EB Magalona.*
