An 18-year-old male was apprehended in possession of P340,000 worth of suspected shabu during a buy bust operation yesterday in Barangay Banago, Bacolod City.
Authorities successfully confiscated more or less 50 grams of suspected shabu from the suspect.
The operation was conducted by the Bacolod City Drug Enforcement Unit at Purok Rosas Pandan, Barangay Banago, at approximately 1:04 in the morning.
It resulted in the apprehension of the suspect identified only as alias ‘Reymar,’ a resident of the barangay.
The arrested suspect is currently under police custody and is facing charges for the violations of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*
