Policemen seized on Thursday about P360,000 worth of suspected shabu and a homemade shotgun with ammunition in separate buy bust operations in Negros Occidental, that led to the arrest of two drug suspects.
Willy Aliguin, categorized by the police as a High Value Individual drug personality, was arrested by the City Drug Enforcement Unit during a buy-bust operation at his residence in Purok Bayanihan, Brgy. Banago, Bacolod City.
The arrest of Aliguin yielded 51 grams of suspected shabu, with a market value of P346,800 and a P500 marked money, according to regional police spokesman Lt. Col. Arnel Solis.
Another buy bust operation in Purok Rosal, Brgy. Zone 10, Talisay City, Negros Occidental, also resulted to the arrest of a drug suspect identified by the police as Renato Labrador Jr, alias Kolanoy.
The apprehension of Labrador also yielded an estimated two grams of suspected shabu, with a market value of P13,600, an improvised homemade shotgun with a live ammunition, P500 in marked money as well as P500 in cash.
Both arrested drug suspects are now locked up in jail.*
