Policemen have seized P378,000 worth of suspected shabu from four arrested drug suspects, including two women, in Negros Occidental, on February 17 and 18.

Pia Altarejos, alias Tata, who ranked number seven in the drug watch list of Police Station 5, was arrested last night during a buy-bust operation at Purok Langis in Brgy. Banago, Bacolod City.

The apprehension of Altarejos by Police Station 5 and BCPO Drug Enforcement Unit, according to PCol. Joseph Thomas Martir, yielded 17 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P120,000, marked money of P500 and P600 in cash.

A drug suspect identified as Caroline Benal is now locked up in jail after her arrest on Thursday during a buy-bust operation in Brgy. 27, Bacolod City.

PLt. Liberty Indiape, deputy spokesperson of the Bacolod City Police Office, said that the apprehension of Benal, alias Tudang, during a joint operation of BCPO Drug Enforcement Unit led by PLt. Joven Mogato and PDEG operatives, led to the confiscation of 28 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P190,000 and P1,000 in marked money

A street level individual drug personality identified by the police as Ronely Montelibano, alias Jong Ronel, was also apprehended yesterday in another buy-bust operation at Brgy. 3 in Silay City, Negros Occidental.

The arrest of Montelibano yielded about eight grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P54,400 and its paraphernalia, P600 in marked money and a cellular phone, police said.

Meanwhile, the apprehension of Mark Entera during a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Matab-ang, Talisay City, on Feb. 17, led to the recovery of two grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P13,600, marked money of P200, as well as P200 in cash.*
